The IDE source download contains unit tests, but the platform doesn't. I propose
that the platform download includes the tests, too. They're helpful when trying
to detect / patch bugs in the platform.

please specify *what* exactly is missing. Try to be very thorough. Comparison of
actual state an desired state of file layout would be fine. Also some details
where the files come from would fine as well.

Downloaded sources from NetBeans.org already contains tests. This issue seems to
be solved.
