Bug 71868

Summary: grep is not being "found" by nbexec on FreeBSD

Description folkerts 2006-01-25 18:01:15 UTC
When starting up NetBeans 5.0RC2 (Generic Download) on FreeBSD 6.0-STABLE two
errors are being displayed:

[bash]beaster:IBIXflex_valpha$/usr/local/netbeans50rc2/netbeans/bin/netbeans
--jdkhome /usr/local/jdk1.5.0
/usr/local/netbeans50rc2/netbeans/bin/../platform6/lib/nbexec: /bin/grep: not found
/usr/local/netbeans50rc2/netbeans/bin/../platform6/lib/nbexec: /bin/grep: not found

That's "OK", as grep is in /usr/bin, not in /bin on FreeBSD.

As this is only for Detection of Proxy that's not being too bad. However, would
be great if this could be adjusted.

Unfortunately I only have access to 6.0-Machines, so I don't know if this is a
Problem only with 6x or also with 4x, 5x and 7.
