Error because of selection of VARCHAR
Not a defect. VARCHAR in Derby must be specified using a length, like in VARCHAR(length), thus you must enter a non-zero number in the Size column. Maybe the DB Explorer should warn that the value of the Size column cannot be zero, if you feel so please file a RFE. So, I reopened that issue, as a enhancement and modified the title. Hope it's ok. TM 5.0 -> TBD *** Issue 78487 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** So maybe it deserves a higher priority. *** Issue 78895 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Reassigned to new owner. The value (length) is validated in NetBeans 7.3. |
