How much free space do you have at disk C:? About 2.22GB ( +/- 100 MB), and also i've got admin's privileges. Ok. Please check also your user temp dir. AS installer uses it to store its own data. If you install AS and then simply delete it only it will not install correctly and AS installer returns with error code 50 just like in this case => I recommend to clean your user temp dir. AS installer creates file 'productregistry' in temp dir. It contains info about installed components. If AS installation is deleted and this file is not updated next installation fails. After removing all previous installations of SJSAS, deleting temp dir (in %USERHOME%\Local Settings), productregistry and appsrv "tmp" dir (was in %USERHOME%\Application Data\Sun, something was in %WINDIR%\Sun), all is working fine :-) Ok. Unfortunately I do not know how to handle this case. We can disscuss it with AS installer team. Anyway bundle installer prints message/warning in summary page when AS installation fails. Maybe it could be somehow highlighted. There is no way we could fix this behavior in bundle installer. I will track if there is issue filed against WSW SDK. If not I file new issue. v. |
