Description Raul_Guilherme 2013-04-11 15:32:33 UTC
Hello,
I was doing this tutorial
https://netbeans.org/kb/docs/ide/install-and-configure-mysql-server.html
using mysql-installer-community-5.6.10.1

I followed all steps and at the end when i checked on the task manager MySQLd-nt.exe was not running, also i cannot find it on my computer.

How can I solve my problem? I need to use databases on Net Beans to do another tutorial https://netbeans.org/kb/docs/ide/mysql.html.
On this second tutorial(step 6), I can't find Path/URL to MySQL Administration application, could this issue happen because the first tutorial was not correctly installed?

I think that in the current version of MySQL the file MySQLd-nt.exe was renamed to MySQLd.exe. Is this process running?

No. MySQL Admin tool is either "mysqladmin" found in "bin" directory in you MySQL installation directory, or a web-based tool that you can install separately.

I guess you've already managed to start your MySQL server. If not, please reopen this issue. Thanks.
