The nps snapshot shows that the slowness is caused mostly by class loading - it seems that the system was under heavy load. The last report is more than one year old, so the bug appears quite seldom. Closing as won't fix.
Please reopen if you encounter the bug while the system resources (especially hard drive) are free (not used by other processes).
