View->Show Non-Printable Characters

Currently end of line symbol is the same for UNIX (LF) and Windows (CRLF). Please, change it to see what end of lines styles are. This is useful before commit file to version control system like SVN, because NetBeans doesn't show us this information in status bar either.

Notepad++ handles it in that way, see screenshot.

This should be considered as basic functions for an editor

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
