Description edvicif 2010-05-08 15:28:19 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE 6.9 Beta (Build 201004200117)
Operating System = Linux version 2.6.29-gentoo-r5gentoo-acpi running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_20
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 16.3-b01
GTK_engine=2.18.3
GTK

I wanted to report this issue for a while. Exist since netbeans 6.7 or 6.5 for me.

It is just a look and feel issue. When I'm working on windows with netbeans large menu entries like under file section are separated with horizontal lines. But at home on my linux it is not.

I hoped it goes away with java, gnome, gtk updates. But it didn't. Funny thing that If I remember well if I create a swing application I can add horizontal separator lines in my menus and it works fine.

I switched on the L&F don't know its name but use vector graphical components and it works fine too. But with the GTK there is no lines in the menu.
