Afaik typical NetBeans Platform-based application contains >10 modules (some - >100) modules and unlikely user is interested in having ability selecting/unselecting all of those, right? Especially the modules which are the part of the platform. Or you are talking about the modules which are not the part of the platform (created by developer)? > Is there any roadmap for this feature? Not yet, we are just collecting feedback to understand what is important to implement. I agree the user doesn't care (or shouldn't) about the core modules. I'm referring the the modules in the suite (created by the developer). I did such an installer using IZPack. Besides that and more customization like icons, languages and panels. Maybe IZPack is a good baseline as features go. Any update? Assigned to new owner. |
