[ JDK VERSION : 1.6.* ]

Provide an option for switching the user directory from within
NetBeans. This could for example be an item on the File menu called
"Switch user directory", where another user directory can be chosen
and loaded.

The idea for this came from a thread on the NetCAT 6.7 mailing list
where Ergonomic profiles were discussed.

I'd like to see this feature added.

Might I also suggest a startup screen that allows the user to choose the profile they wish to work in, maybe this could
be contained in the welcome screen. A similar feature used to exist within Firefox.
