this is custom ui for the GF server... I will see what I can do

the v3 server doesn't register a custom authenticator... we use the NbAuthenticator. we don't have the resources to
spend time fixing issues at this level in the v2 plugin. so i am going to drop this to p5

no bug should be assigned to issues. distributing the load.
