NetBeans Localization TeamNetBeans Localization Project: We Speak Your Language!

The NetBeans IDE is the development environment of choice for numerous developers worldwide thanks to the efforts of motivated community members who make up the NetBeans Localization Project. Using their technical expertise and linguistics skills they have helped to make the NetBeans IDE, Platform, website and documentation accessible to non-English speaking users everywhere.

An initiative originally started by Vincent Brabant and Maxym Mykhalchuk, both of whom translated NetBeans 3.5 into French and Russian respectively, the NetBeans Translation Project has been responsible for the localization of the IDE's modules into over a dozen languages in the past years. And with new language teams regularly joining the project, the localization effort shows no sign of stopping! We thank all the team members for their invaluable work giving the NetBeans Project global appeal!
