NetBeans Community Approves NetBeans IDE 6.9 for Prime Time Release

We are pleased to announce the results of the NetBeans IDE 6.9 Community Acceptance Survey that ended June 8th: 88% of 107 respondents agree that NetBeans IDE 6.9 Release Candidate is stable enough to be shipped! A few respondents pointed out several serious issues. We fixed three of the most critical ones, and aim to deliver the other fixes in an update release as soon as possible. Overall, this is good news for NetBeans IDE 6.9 from the community, and we thank you for your very valuable feedback!
