NetBeans.org Community NewsBack to the community news list Welcome to the New NetBeans.org!By: tinu, 10 Nov 2009 The NetBeans Team is pleased to announce that the migration of NetBeans.org to the Kenai infrastructure has been completed!
By now, all registered NetBeans.org users should have received email messages containing their new login and temporary password, and instructions for accessing the new site. What is different about NetBeans.org? Registered users can now access all of the site's services (Wiki, Issuezilla, Source Code Management, Mailing Lists, etc.) with a single sign-on. The NetBeans Wiki now has the same look-and-feel as the NetBeans.org site, and employs the Mediawiki syntax. On the new "My Page", users now get a personalized view of NetBeans projects that they belong to. (After logging in, simply click on your username to see your personal page.) Users can search for and bookmark projects that they would like to track, or find other NetBeans.org members. Mailing list navigation has also been improved: quickly access mailing lists associated with your projects; search threads by subject, message or date; and even compose messages to the lists directly from the site. These are some of the primary enhancements that we've made to the site, in addition to improved site performance overall. We hope that the new NetBeans.org provides the community with a more connected and user-friendly experience. If you have any questions about the new site or have difficulty accessing it, please contact us at webmaster at netbeans dot org. You can also visit the NetBeans.org Migration FAQ wiki. Thank you.
