Created attachment 101507 [details] Plenty of space for a button I'm very happy to be testing linewrap on today's nightly, and look forward to it finally being a stable feature. Once it is, I'd like to suggest adding a button on the toolbar to toggle it on/off. Most if not all editors with linewrap have a button for it, and depending on which file I'm currently looking at would like to be able to easily turn it on or off. It currently takes 7 clicks to enable or disable it, so a toolbar button would be well-deserved; and there is plenty of available space on the toolbar (at least in PHP version).
...and I'd be very happy as a shortcut for toggle line-wrap.

I implemented such a plugin. See http://plugins.netbeans.org/plugin/45663/?show=true. Please have a look and give feedback. Currently it is not yet available update center within the IDE, because the verification is depending.
Yes, toggle line wrap, please! TextWrangler has it, it's much needed, and you've got tons of space to add it. Changing the line wrap via Preferences is very cumbersome. Thanks!
@phidel, the line wrap plugin works great and you can just click on the "wrap" text in the bottom right to switch it on/off.
@markiewb@netbeans.org thanks for the plugin. Works great. This plugin needs to be added to Netbeans IDE base.
