Description tomsometimes 2009-01-29 17:22:23 UTC
any way to implement a shortcut key to upload to FTP a file being edited. the F6 'run' option requires many keystrokes
and outputs a dialog box

thx

It's already there - see Tools > Options > Keymap - search for Upload in PHP category.

thanks, what i meant was a way to simply upload the php file currently being edited without invoking the "FTP Upload"
dialog box, which requires an OK click

Aha, I see now. That could be implemented, I hope I will have time to do it. Thanks for suggestion.

It would be great to have a shortcut like that you're describing but acting over all changed files (currently you get
this behaviour by clicking "run" or shift-f6). I want to refresh manually my browser, but the "run" action opens a new
tab in the browser every time.

Also I agree that it will skip lots of mouse clicks if the confirmation dialog allow to accept with a keystroke!!

Thank you and keep the good work!!

Please notice that we just added possibility to propagate all the local changes to a remote server immediately (see Project Properties, Run
Configuration (Remote Web) and choose Upload Files: On Save).

So is there anything left to do? Or is this completed?
Comment 7 Tomas Mysik 2009-05-18 12:06:15 UTC
It depends - if upload-on-save is enough then this issue can be closed. If not (user wants to upload just _certain_
files) then this issue should stay opened. Reporter, could you please clarify? Thanks a lot.

Let's consider this issue to be fixed. Please reopen if there are any objections.

Thanks.
