Hello, 

Could it be possible to add the possibility to filter the list of opened tabs in
the NB editor dropdown. This is a Eclispe feature (see
http://blog.developpez.com/media/listeEclipse.png and
http://blog.developpez.com/media/listeEclipse2.png for sample).

and a close/close other on a right click on this drop down list would be a good idea

Note that there is dialog to filter and close available on Shift+F4 or Window -> Documents menu item.
