I have been having this problem for a long time now. NetBeans is almost impossible to use with C/C++, maybe because it was not made for it in first place.

I am trying to providde cygwin g++ compiler with netbeans, it is not accepting any include files stdio, iostream, etc. although i have included all the required libraries in the code assistance option in the options menu in netbeans.

Do you speak about issue 234221? Do you mixes 32-bit and 64-bit applications? Do you use very old cygwin?
