FileChannel.size() returned 0 for the file with output data. It is very strange, as quite a lot of output has been already written to it. Didn't you clear the folder with temporary files while NetBeans IDE was running? Did you notice any other problems related to filesystem? Thank you. Email response from the reporter:

Can you please provide any additional information? What were you doing, or what tasks were writing data to output window?
