For me this only happens with issues from a Jira instance hosted by Atlassian (Atlassian on demand). Issues from an iinstance running on our network are displayed just fine. Integrated into 'main-silver', will be available in build *201403110001* on http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/ (upload may still be in progress) Changeset: http://hg.netbeans.org/main-silver/rev/c887129ac854 User: Tomas Stupka <tstupka@netbeans.org> Log: Issue #242632 - IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 0, Size: 0 added some logging and a possible workaround, please reproduce and attach your messages.log thanks This bug already has 10 duplicates see http://statistics.netbeans.org/exceptions/detail.do?id=207156 *** Bug 243771 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Happens also using our JIRA Product Version: NetBeans IDE 8.0 (Build 201403101706) Updates: Updates available to version , NetBeans 8.0 Patch 1 Java: 1.8.0; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.0-b70 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0-b132 System: Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64; Cp1252; de_DE (nb) User directory: C:\Users\markiewb\AppData\Roaming\NetBeans\8.0 Cache directory: C:\Users\markiewb\AppData\Local\NetBeans\Cache\8.0 Does not seem to happen when selecting "JIRA 3.13+" as JIRA connector type in Options -> Team -> Tasks. (In reply to heapifyman from comment #9) > Does not seem to happen when selecting "JIRA 3.13+" as JIRA connector type > in Options -> Team -> Tasks. You are right. JIRA v5.2.11 now "works" with 3.13+ connector. At least no exception anymore and I can view the issue JIRA (v6.0.8#6109-sha1:57cf099) now "works" with 3.13+ connector. no reports after 8.0 closing. Hi Tomas This is definitely not fixed, I am running 8.0 and this still occurs for me with connector 5.0+. It seems like an issue with that connector. Same situation here and I can't use the workaround to get along :( could anybody able to reproduce try an actual dev build? thanks I will try and re-create for using dev Hi Just to let everyone know, I could not re-create with nightly: Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201407210001) (#77b3122f0984) Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_25; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 23.25-b01; Oracle Corporation Runtime = Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.7.0_25-b17 Java Home = C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_25\jre It seems to be fixed, however the fix should be identified and pushed out with an update, thanks :) Cool! Thanks for testing it :) Hope update for release version will arrive soon. like mentioned in comment 5 - i've added a possible workaround i've also added some logging and would like to see the output willie - could you please do one more thing: - go through the steps that lead to the problem - and attach your messages.log thanks Created attachment 148199 [details]
nightly reproduce logs
Attached are my reproduction step messages.log, a very weird thing i've noticed though, is that now my original netbeans 8 (non-dev) version has started working, i.e. no bug anymore, which suggests somehow the dev version fixed it?
this seems very strange, but I'm just reporting what Ive experienced

not sure, might be somehow related to the client cached repository metadata, which got overwritten by the dev build version. Anyway - good to know, thanks for the info ...
