Description Lou Dasaro 2014-01-29 03:20:27 UTC
On the page at: https://netbeans.org/about/os/who-board.html
The first sentence states that
"The NetBeans Governance Board consists of three publicly nominated and elected members."
This is inaccurate, and should state: "The NetBeans Governance Board consists of three members. Two of the members are elected by the community, and the third is appointed by Oracle."

On the page at: https://netbeans.org/about/os/governance.html
The second paragraph, second and third sentences state that
"The board consists of three people, who are appointed for six month terms. Two of the members are appointed by the community, by consensus or vote on the public mailing lists. "
This is inaccurate. It should state something like:
"The board consists of three people, who serve on the board concurrently for a one year term. Two of the members are elected."
(Note that the paragraph immediately following contains a reference to the election process).

The Acknowledgements page is dated and requires some editing.

I reviewed this today. It seems that the pages have since been updated in a manner agreeable with this ticket. Therefore am marking as RESOLVED FIXED.
