P1 since this could be the first experience a new user has with NetBeans. Install, then open a project and deadlock. filed against progress? Why? There is not a single progress method in the stacktrace. It seems to be a dup of bug #210752 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 210752 *** Sorry, saw StatusLine, was thinking progress. |
Created attachment 121227 [details] Thread dump Built NetBeans from source, deleted my userdir and started it. Opened a maven project. During the "activating java" phase, deadlock. Real, bona-fide, detectable by the VM itself deadlock. The scary thing is that the deadlock looks like it might be in the JDK itself the culprit seems to be java.awt.EventQueue. But a workaround, if possible, would be a good idea.
