If you close all the windows in the IDE, you are left with a boring empty background.

Suggestion is to allow the layering of an image on the background (i.e. wallpaper) from the Tools | Options dialog.

Note that the image would rarely be seen as windows normally cover all areas of the IDE.  So this is nothing more than a novelty feature.  However it's a nice feature as developers can personalize their IDE to some extent and companies can add a sense of branding to their environments as well.

Better yet... just right-click the empty background and select Set Background Image...

With this, no settings will be needed in the Options panel.

Ability to tile and stretch would also be cool.
