This issue already has 7 duplicates see http://statistics.netbeans.org/exceptions/detail.do?id=158190 It ends in native filesystem calls. It cannot be fixed in filesystems. This issue already has 9 duplicates see http://statistics.netbeans.org/exceptions/detail.do?id=158190 This bug already has 10 duplicates see http://statistics.netbeans.org/exceptions/detail.do?id=158190 294 duplicates ... this needs to be investigated, the last came from Dev 2011-03-23 I looked at few of the snapshots and I agree with jirka that in every single one of them most of the slowness time is spent in native filesystem calls. The income on this bug is around 10 slowness reports/month. Cant this be just percentage of users who have for some reason(network drive, antivirus, etc.) at the time VERY slow filesystem? There are different reason for the slowness reported in this issue. We plan to identify the few key problems and file separate issues. There is also plan to improve detection logic to better distinguish different slowness reasons. Issues were filed (199315 199396 199397) and detection logic on the statistics server was improved.
