Hi There,

I'm a Windows administrator managing a computer lab. In our lab, we use roaming profile plus folder redirection for all
users. This way, we provide best mobility of the users and yet maintain speedy login/logoff.

I noticed that Netbeans uses user's profile folder to store the configurations - which is "%userprofile%\.netbeans".
Overtime, this folder grow very big.

Windows systems (XP/Vista/Server 2003+) do provide a folder "%appdata%" for holding user-specific configurations. This
folder will be associated with each individual user - and in our lab, it is redirected to our file server so it won't
cause network traffic during login/logoff.

So, change the configuration folder from "%userprofile%\.netbeans" to "%appdata%\.netbeas" would be a very good idea.

Thank you for your time.

Johnny
